What makes this basket extra special is our unique FrameFix invention (patent pending), our mounting mechanism that provides the inner core strength that enables maximised load capacity without compromising steering ability and balance. FrameFix attaches the basket easily to the head tube of your bicycle instead of the handlebars (as with other baskets on the market) so that the basket remains in a fixed position whenever you elegantly manoeuvre through traffic – providing extra strength and stability. No special tools are needed for assembly.

Technical information:

•    The combined weight of the Velorbis stainless steel FrameFix mounting bracket and D-shaped wicker basket is 2kgs. 
•    The L-shape of the Velorbis FrameFix mounting bracket is a one of a kind, one size fits all design. The L-shaped design is unique in the way it both attaches to the frame without affecting the steering capabilities and provides support for a basket.
•    The Velorbis FrameFix mounting bracket has been designed so that its height can be adjusted (up/down by 1-2 inches) once it is mounted to the frame’s head tube. It has been designed specifically for all Dutch style classic bicycles with a round steel head tube. The bracket wíll not fit on or be appropriate for racing bikes, mountain bikes, dirt bikes and BMX bikes.
•    Baskets only need to be a 90° shape at the back to fit the Velorbis FrameFix mounting bracket. Most baskets on the market have this capability and will therefore fit the Velorbis FrameFix’s L-shaped bracket design.
